DREAMZ UNLIMITED
I've always been amazed by my own dream factory. And that includes both the day-dreaming and the nocturnal divisions. Most of my dreams that I remember are clasroom reveries, the ones I watch with eyes open and ears shut, in the IITians Special Lecture-time sleep sessions. The remaining are invariably early morning dreams, or ones that wake me up in the middle of the night(no, not accompanied with the typical Hindi-movie like screams...I'm a bit too civilized and real for that!).
The important thing is that my dreams are so so crazy most of the times, that if I remember them, I inevitably break into spontaneous peals of laughter. I remember waking up once on a winter morning in my hostel room, almost right from the middle of a really mindless dream, such that its memory was very fresh in my mind, and it's a little vague now, but it's there! I woke up, pulled my blanket out, turned my head left once, and then to the right (that is, saw both my roomies one after the other, whose beds are on either side of mine) and just broke into a loud, mad laughter.Believe it or not, but I laughed continously for the next 15 minutes!!! My roomies were, to say the least, in "shock and awe". Infact my neighbours had run to my room too, by then, curious about what's going on. Now whoever knows me even one bit, agrees on the fact that I'm a huge psycho! Seeing me laugh like that, they got scared if I had got a fit or something. They tried to stop me and shake me, but to no avail. Finally when I realised they were really panicking(one of them ran down to call the Caretaker!) I somehow controlled my laughter and shut up. Then I told them about the dream, and it was community laughter time after that. The dream? Well, I don't think it's apt to be described here. It's a little..er...censored!
But anyway, that's an old story. The latest product of my zany whacky factory was the one I saw this morning (night?). I saw a couple of friends of mine (it's not safe to name them) getting married at the same time and venue to their respective girlfriends(not safe to name them either). I saw a lot of my other friends and profs at the occassion, and everything was going just fine, when suddenly one of the guys jumped out of the mandap and declared he wasn't going to marry the girl because he loved someone else, and that someone was none other than the other GUY getting married at the same occassion. In true Hindi film style, he urges the Guy#2 to come back to him, his original love, and not to care of the zaalim duniya and all. Both of them start weeping, and then the Guy#2 runs towards Guy#1. But suddenly, the Girl#1 comes in between riding on the groom's horse, all dressed up and carrying a sword in hand. She yelled that if he could not be hers, he won't be anyone else's either, and with that, killed Guy#1 and rode away. After that I saw noone else but the Guy#2 and Girl#2, singing the song "chhodo kal ki baatein..." and eventually getting married.
Huh!Howzzat for craziness...Swear I didn't make it up.
So, now do you agree am really really crazy? ;)
