Even a genius doesnt know everything...and as far as commiting mistakes is concerned, I guess its normal to commit 'silly' mistakes when trying to avoid 'serious' blunders....it so happens that we tend to overlook the most trivial things, we assume that we know them, and that is where we go wrong. Anyhow, dont blame yourself, for you are not at fault. Its your ignorance (relative to those around you, of course) that is. Cheer up.
they overlook or they take it easy or they dont care, if the mistakes are silly or they are not aware of the (silly)mistakes while they are busy in taking care of not committing a serious mistake.
btw a mistake is a mistake. differentiating silly and serious... is it possible?
[tapasya] Quite true...but did u just call me ignorant? ...ahh...and i thought ignorance was bliss...
[neha] Silly mistakes may or may not be committed; To 'commit' may or may not be a silly mistake Though I dont know of any silly mistakes that are single They usually occur in pairs or with families
:P:P:P
[insane] :-) Catch ya around!
[chandu] who's they? there's a theory that says there are no silly mistakes, all of them are blunders with consequences of varyoing intensities... but the question is good..can naiveness be an excuse?
[ment[] whatever it was, i am sure u;d correct it for me:)
[i know u] is that consciousness, or self-check, a way/defence mechanism to keep oursaelves in check...while it takes away some freedom and inncocence, will it minimise error, or will it only tire one out?

what silly mistake did u do now? :-?
probably because, as u said, when u begin to think that u have done "well enough" that u end up making the mistake.
also if we keep reminding ourselves that we havent done anything "silly" as yet, arent we becoming conscious of our activities...?
Kind of fun isn't it.
