Indolence

Human tendency is to be lazy...to take as many things for granted as possible.
Of "Don't before you have to".
Indolence is just a word to make this laziness sound a little classier.

Alas, nobody, just nobody, values what they have, enough.

That is why, nobody ever has enough.

I hate being taken for granted.

So do those I never realise I take for granted.

I'm too lazy to get over my hypocrisy.
Perhaps, I am, too, a human being.

Hmm...agree with the first two lines whole-heartedly. We never appreciate what we have enough and never have enough too. It's a dangerous recursion...anyways well thought out, excellent!

Im confused about the last line. Does it mean, "You hate those who you take for granted without realising?" If yes, why is that so?

He certainly is! In fact, I only wrote a nanocomment before, once removed, but I should add that this post is very bookmarkable, and that is because of the last line. Everyone thinks the rest are humans while he is something else who fits in somewhere in god's plan. And it's perfect otherwise what's the use? But the realization that maybe I am a human too that comes after repeated setbacks just takes the fun out of it. So when I said "And yet there's a 'perhaps' there" I should have actually put a ":)" after that since this 'perhaps' just negates the rest of the line which makes me happy. The optimism in this word 'perhaps' actually kills the resignation present in the rest of the sentence.
