Har subah tere naam se hoti hai shuru
Har raat teri yaadon ko odkar so jati hai
Har shaam tere aagosh kee talaash mein
Bhatakti-bhatakti andheron mein gum ho jati hai
Har pal poochhta hai ye aane wale pal se
Kya teri khushboo sath mein woh le kar aaya hai
Palak jhapakti tak nahi ab tere intezaar mein
aankhen kabhi has padti hai, kabhi ro jati hain

Good one!
Liked the end:
"Palak jhapakti tak nahi ab tere intezaar mein
aankhen kabhi has padti hai, kabhi ro jati hain"
waah!

When you write well, you write brilliantly well.

Dhanywaad

And when I write crap, it's horrible unreadable crap. :D
So what category is this?
wow !!
vry sad though .. bt wow.
cheer up kiddo :)
Love. the most cruel of all emotions.
It's one of the better ones.
I dont know but I kinda feel there were more lines to this piece and you didn't post them...just feel its not complete yet :)
but yes I am surely a fan of your supreme command over languages.
Just keep on writing

And the most wholesome. :D
[vibhav]
Ah. I see.
[desperado]
You're right actually. There are a few more lines in this that I haven't posted. Just don't ask me why :P :)
If you keep reading I'd keep writing.
//And the most wholesome. :D
and when the emotion passes, leaves you emptier than ever.
well don't worry I'll definitely be around
your tag is done but i dont know how correctly :P
As i used to tell you, you write much better in Hindi than in English.
You are the only one who can label something "crap" and "poetry" at the same time...cmon yaar itni modesty bhi nahi banti ;)
Seriously speaking, you must send all this to some music director: your understandable hindi poems can make brilliant bollywood songs. I mean, it's far better than all the crap we listen today. ("Dard-e-disco" for cryin out loud!)
[phoenix] beautiful.
[akshay] Come on dude, darde disco is not so bad. There is deep philosphy there. Love is so painful that the hero starts to dance to release the pain. Dard-e-Disco...
ok, whatever, i am going to defend srk come what may :)
[arpz]
true. But if it weren't all consuming it wouldn't be half the fun.
[desperado]
*grin*
[ted]
Ah...well :)
[akshay]
What do I do if my poetry feels like crap to me. Anyway it's just a sleepy in the classroom back of the notebook scribble. Most of the time thats rubbish.
Agree with the dard e disco bit though. Lyrics of hindi movies are amazing these days. Have you heard "tv chale remote se, biwi chale hai note se.." :P
[sahil]
Thanks.
And such blind(and deaf?) faith. Cool :P
Is baar to 'silwatein' word hi gaayab hai! :P
I like dard-e-disco. It's an example of compromising as little as possible on poetry in the time of the likes of "tv chale remote se..". A few lines are quite good. And music goes too well with the words.
Still, Sahil's faith is, at least, blind :P
dude..awesome! masha allah! aap ki hindi ki kavitaon pe hum fida ho gaye!!(thats a lot of hindi for me..lol) but damn nice!
