Something's there
that stays even after the end
that lingers on, undevoured
on the fringes of existence
making inroads into the past
and the future
hoping to throw you off balance
and score a victory
celebrating it's nothingness.
Something is there
simply by the virtue
of its absence.
It really is nothing.

To call abstract "nothing" would weigh too heavily on calling the human senses to be perfect and all-encompassing, which I think is a misconception. No amoeba can hear music simply because it aint got ears; then who's to say that we humans can not experience this "abstract" simply because we don't have the senses? Or probably we do have them and that is why some sensitive people can feel it more than others, but those nerves may have stopped working with "normal people". At any rate, the mere fact the abstract is said to be something could mean that it does have an existence and is just eluding those consciously seeking it. It can't be all imagination.
Or have I misunderstood your poem?
What?!
hmm...
and it catches us unawares at times,
and says suddenly, "Look! I am not there",
and you realize that it's right,
and you don't know if that's good or bad.
nice idea...hoping for abstract posts-ii and further...though they're already present, for now in their non-existence.

Really.. What?!

Would come back to comment later..
well .. is it like ..
somewhere in the middle of nowhere
Or
nowhere in the middle of somewhere?
or
is it just nothing?
Sounds like something encrypted.. like the last traces of a life form put on a glass slide and covered. The matrix of memories is suffocating; but, cheer up, the air is still fresh!
I feel like joining Akshay. Abstract posts will have abstract comments. No fault of ours! :)

For me even the abstract in many cases is pretty tangible...hard to explain.
Nice to know I finally confused Phoenix (I think) ;P
I never believed it when pple said the void is only filled by something else...it doesn't simply fade away. Today i do..someday you'll be surprised that something has filled that void and that day there really will be nothing. :-)
:-))))
Why u are calling it abstract....??
May be I cudnt get that...or misunderstood it.......
there is alwyaz soemthing to make us fall...but therer is alwayzz soemthing to balance it at the same time....:-)))

It's right an instant, wrong the another. Truth once, myth twice. They evade, they escape and they hide, abstraction is everywhere in the infinite. You'd see more coming, visible or hidden, but it shall stay, and stay forbidden

Whatever you please, whatever you fathom! It is, afterall, if at all, in the mind.

Abstraction is beautiful,so most welcome. The last traces of life should not be put on glass slides though, because under the microscope they'd just be a dense haze, but outside of it, they're the entire life themselves.

It's not so much about confusion, I understand what you were trying to say in your own way, but not how it's related to anything I said!

You're right. Some voids are permanent, and the day we are faced by an illusion that fills it, we are brought back to earth with the relaity.

Ah! Wish I was as optimistic!!
how i wish that the "nothing" which connects my past to the future could leave me alone....sadly,its like a shadow following me everwhere.
welcome back!
The present is not nothing....u just need to see properly...
