Raahein dhoondne ki koshish kiya karte the
Ek manzil ki talash mein hum bhi jiya karte the
Apni si ek duniya banane ke liye
Ek chahat ki chahat mein jiya mara karte the
Ek din jab kho gayi manzil bhi rahein bhi
Sookh gaye aansu bhi chup ho gaya darr bhi
Fir samajh aya bhatakne ke liye duniya bahut badi hai
Aur lambi hai bahut zindagi bhi...

Scary thought in last four lines. (Hope you're doing good.) Every time I read/write such lines, I can't help remembering this Kishore Kumar song:
"Chhoti si ye duniya pehchane raaste hain.. tum kahiin to miloge kabhii to miloge, to poochhenge haal."
.. Seriously.. there is nothing good about the rest of the song, but the opening line stays. Now together with them would stay the last four lines of your poem, as the counter-argument.
Death of wants isn't always the biggest victory.
Not crap!
Hi Phoenix,
I guess you can consider us two Phoenixes from parallel universes who have crossed path.
Nice poem there. Absolutely wonderful. I loved the ending, it is quite optimistic as to what everyone else might feel.
Afterall what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger. And where there is so much to look ahead to, there is no reason to quit. Afterall duniya bahot badi hai aur zindagi bhi!
There is innocence in this poem...and troubled innocence.
Oh how true! how true!

I don't really remember that song.
As far as this post, it's really random...was writing an email, and ended up writing the last line of this post in the last line of that mail. Then just impromptu typed something to fit that in, without context. Being scared is a phae that's over now.

Once wants and desires fade, victory or loss loses meaning. Thats good, I guess.

Hello,
Nice to meet you, and yeah it is an optimistic poem because it re-established the paradigm of continuity in nature. Whether or not there's anything to look forward to, really, time doesn't stop. And we are only slaves of time. We can't stop either, not until we escape.

I lost my innocence dunno when, but long back, I feel...so no clue how my words could still have any left.
I'm a still a lot of trouble btw ;), so I can understand that bit. :)
