Window-shopping

Definitely one of the most under-realized truths of our times is the all-powerful influence and importance of the high-profile brands on our lives, so much that we actually pay them to use us to advertise themselves...

Yes...that's the way with names (or any other "representation"). They have a habit of quietly becoming larger than even the real thing. Wonder what all can be included under "brands" and what all we "pay". (And I guess General Observation Inc. is working full-time now!)
