I didn't know this, one of the side-effects of listening too much instrumental music is that you start thinking on the rhythm. Here, look at how words ruin a great song, if you can make out which:
So awake in the night time
Wandering about
I want to ask what
I'm doing around
I want to know why
I wouldn't sleep
I want to know what
I want to keep
Lost in the night time
Looking for a plan
I want to want
and I want to know I can
Will I ever reach where
I really wanna go
Just what place is that
will I ever know
Reaching out in the darkness
Will you understand?
I just want to want
and I want to know I can.
So awake in the night time
Wandering about
I want to ask what
I'm doing around
I want to know why
I wouldn't sleep
I want to know what
I want to keep
Lost in the night time
Looking for a plan
I want to want
and I want to know I can
Will I ever reach where
I really wanna go
Just what place is that
will I ever know
Reaching out in the darkness
Will you understand?
I just want to want
and I want to know I can.

Wonderful song by yourself.
And the original song.. On first read I thought I've heard it.. but I was unable to get to it. On subsequent reads the things messed up, I lost the chord and I feel like humming different parts of it on different tunes now.. Jesus to a child, Sacrifice.. :P :P
Take a hint: the tune of both the verses in the same, and corresponds to the inner verses of the song, n there's nothing for the most popular main couple of lines. If I could put in guitar chords with the post, u'd get it :P
Too tough :( More hints..english or hindi?
English. One of the best guitar-slow rock songs ever. Actually, it is tough to work this way. Ok, Eagles' most famous song. :) Now tell me if you can also put these words to the tune, or is it just me :P
i think i've got it, but even now its a long long shot to put the words in :P
ok! "there's nothing for the most popular main couple of lines" meant you didn't write any lines corresponding to their tune. But even if I had got that, it was tough. Too tough.
But.. yes. Yes, I can put these words to the tune. They fit in perfectly.
