The road to you...

The road to you
goes through a path
I'd not be afraid to take
if it wasn't trampling you underneath
The wall that hides you
and protects you from wrath
I'd not hesitate to break
if the debris didn't bury you beneath
I'd not quit
if my win didn't defeat you
I'd not live
if my death didn't beat you
We'd be friends
if you weren't so scared
It'd all be easy
if I hadn't cared.

Nicely written.

Very beautifully written....gives a dreamy feeling.. but it takes time to understand !

Another introverted friend you got? :P Well, take the path some time, I'm sure he won't be trampled. A one time, momentary, loss of speech is expected though :P.. but he'd regain it and say he cared equally, if not more. :)

My first time here and liked this poem enough to feel compelled to leave a comment behind. Beautifully complicated, that!

The poem says a lot more than has been put into words. Amazingly brilliant!

And I second Vik on that suggestion :)

It'll all be easy,
if I wouldn't care.

Nice poem!

Poetry can never die..it can lie low, or fly. Thanks

:) How simple, a smile.

For once it's more real than a dream, and hence twisted like reality.

Yeah, another friend. More difficult than most for he manages to hide the introvert in the extrovert (who talks more than me :P) and repels everyone who knows the introvert.
And he doesn't care. I do. And I can't break him.

Thanks for your visit. I've been reading your blog for some time, you know, through Chandni's, so it was kinda pleasing to see you here.

Complicated, well, that's life. :)

Read reply to Vik.
And for once the poem was all real, no writing, hence more in the words...
Thanks though

[vibhav]
Good to remember, isnt it?

Lost for words;
It intrigues me and amazing me, what you've written here, that is.
