Kids beat adults big time when it comes to innocence, you can't win it against them, but the relief is that here we are losing only to little innocent kids. And we can happily let kids have that unique privilege.
Hey Pheonix, .. Nice blog. A question I used to ponder along for a while.. But the fact that I realised now is that.. The adults look for answers in their kids.. :) U know why they crib so much?? Coz' they don't have answers.. to more a more no. of questions than they could handle as kids. Why? Coz' they realize that they have been given the power to change or manipulate things.. But they don't understand to what end :)They now tend to make Optimal decisions and not the right ones :) Well I hope U've got something from this little thing I post :D
Maybe you can't preserve every ounce but I feel most of it can be preserved ...it just needs a strong heart ... Like Anne Frank said "Despite everything, I still believe in goodness of mankind"
“Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity.”-- William Butler Yeats.

And to read this on the eve of my birthday! Ironic! :-)
Innocence cannot be endured or protected for if we have to grow with change we need to understand pain and innocence doesn't understand it.
inevitable..yess:(
