Drama, and the lack of it

Even though the scoreline read 3-2 to Federer, most people watching would have been full of admiration and respect for Roddick at the Wimbledon finals. Sometimes, winning or losing truly doesn't mean anything to anyone. And that is other than the times when the competition itself is a total farce, the great reality-tamasha on TV called "Rakhi ka Swayamvar" being a good example. You just have to watch the incessant advertisement to realise that the show successfully manages to be a bigger farce, scripted sleazy shocking joke than the very concept of a televised Swayamvar for a real wedding, even the very concept of Rakhi Sawant. The "writers" of the show deserve an applause though, for maintaining the drama of 100 bollywood movies in each episode, and creating suitable "groom" characters. Wow!

Life meanwhile, is wayyyyyyy less dramatic/ interesting. I live a little, work a little, and survive the rest. Staying at home is almost as bad as I had envisaged, but I'm managing for the time being. I'm enjoying driving/working from home, though am not getting any slimmer :( Something or the other keeps malfunctioning, but overall the inertia is high. And oh, a friend got married almost overnight (less than that, actually) and I still cant believe he did that.
Oh, such is life...

So someone is following up "Rakhi ka Swayamvar". :P
When I saw the promo "of this show, I was wondering who will watch it! Probably the popularity of Splitsvilla encouraged makers to make such a show. But seems efforts of the team of the show are working :P

Ah! You are bang on about the reality show farce! I almost had a sinus attack about the thought of the serial. Such a drama, even Ramsey brothers would be shitting in their pants out of fear if they watch it.

Well, good to hear that life is still moving! :)

Hey, good to see you around here after a lot of time.

You're right, it's incredible melodrama, and sometimes, downright slutty, but wat else wd u expect with rakhi.

I'm wondering whether season 2 will be about a second husband, or threesome partner. :P

[passionate]
That is sad. Grand slam finals have been interesting in the last couple of yrs

[desperado]
I dotn hate fedex, i dont think es the greatest player ever, but he provides incredible drama "human", he's an arrogant winner n sore loser (these days, mostly, though he did well to acknowleddge roddick), but still, some of his shots are incredible.
The second set, i thought the federer fightback as spectacular, he played really well to win the tiebreak, but when he lost the 4th comprehensively, roddick shd have just cashed on his mental wreckage n won.
