I don't know how many would identify with or even comprehend what I mean when I talk about that feeling...the feeling when no matter how good or brilliant it is objectively speaking, especially to everyone else onlooking, all you feel is inadequacy, insufficiency and a huge sense of underachievement when it comes to yourself. You cannot voice it or share it, because of course you cannot explain/rationally reason out about it and there would be a huge list of things someone else could point out that you have got going for you. You cannot sulk, you cannot be sad, but all you feel is a feeling of frustration with yourself, for being too slow, too stupid, too inefficient, or not being where your peers are, whatever be the reason.
Voicing it out, however, will always sound stupid and almost unreasonable. So I will stop short.
That feeling is a lonely feeling.

I feel the same at times....it is yet another cost we pay before being stamped with the label 'Manufactured in IITD. Weird, Arbit and Random at room temperature. Handle with care'.
Hope u feel better soon.
Cheers!
I feel the same many times .. but the nice thing is that.. such feeling tend to pass mostly
Guess its a "human" feeling and happens to everyone!
I can so relate to it so many times especially after graduating from college!
You have some genuinely nice company out there, just explore.
often, lonely = bored =waiting for something to happen. it will take care of itself - give it some time. any solution to this when voiced out, however will sound cliched. so i will stop short :)
As Winnie says..it passes..doesn't seem like it ever will but it does..
((((((hugs)))))))
Not this feeling, no. But the completely opposite sometimes. When I feel I have done enough but everybody else does not think so. Thats a funny period, convincing people who matter that what you have done is actually enough and lets all be happy!
Yes, So true ....
Yes there are times when you know that voicing your opinion just won't help. And I feel it more of late, since I am at home with parents.
The comparisons are endless, and it is the people around who are more bothered. But it has always been so. Be it any issue, "others" seem to be more interested in your affairs. And these are times when I choose to just be on the silent mode than try and explain my situation or sharing my thoughts.
I do relate to that feeling of yours!!
