Unequal

Read this somewhere:
Never make anybody a priority in your life, when you are just an option for them...
Easier said than done. Too much time. Such little to smile about. Going a little crazy. :)

I came across these words too some time back.

Its really difficult though but practical enough :)

I disagree. There should always be one person in your life who has the utmost priority... YOU.

While you wonder about someone else treating you as an option, first DO think about whether you aren't treating your SELF as an option too!

Rubbish. You've gotta take a hit once in a while to get what you want.

This quote is just about as stupid as it can get. Human relations are not business deals.

Practicaly maybe. Doable dunno.
Should-be done? dunno either.
Too cold for me

On one hand your point of view makes sense. Respecting and caring for yourself should be a priority, because otherwise you cant expect the same from anyone else.

On the other hand, thats not all that is sufficient, is it?
Fine, your #1 priority is you, but what after that.

It's also funny how being too self-centered makes you unlovable, and being too self-sacrificing also leads you to the same place.

That's one point of view. Reasonable enough.
"to get what you want"
....

Think about it, and then let go. Thats all that works :)

Love your reaction.
True enough.
Then why are we expected to be rational in human relations? Practical and logical? Why is being all this called being "mature"?

Mistakes keep us human. Hurt heals.

Expectations!! It is a funny word. And a funny world, it is, too. Who are the ones who 'expect' these from us? It is mostly people who love us. And the reason is that they don't want us to get hurt. But even most of these people would, if given a chance, love to be illogical and "immature", even if it hurts them as a consequence. What those who expect, forget, is that everyone has a right to their pains, and that is what makes life what it is.

btw, an interesting observation this one...

"It's also funny how being too self-centered makes you unlovable, and being too self-sacrificing also leads you to the same place."

However, there is a thin line that separates, I think. While being self-centered does make you unlovable, being too self-sacrificing might make you unloved but definitely not unlovable. That, at least, is reason to smile. :)

Do you really "make" them a priority? Or do they unconsciously become so? :-)

''The Most Important PERSON for You in The World is YOU ! ''

Thats when almost everyone else leaves you, ur alone , disheartened, Dejected, disowned by the ones You Love (Especially a girl )

Trust me I do FOLLOW this and yeah it helps !
Fact is - Everyone of us at some point of time in Our Life do get to a Point where we dont much mean anything to anyone else , worse to even opur own self! That phase should be 'tasted' and 'tread' on, cos thats from where U rise like a PhoeNix and have an Opportunity to bite back and beat the world and be the BEST !

And I Agree '' Never Make someone a Priority , When Your but just an Option for them'' to the point of not loosing your dignity, self - esteem and to get back into Life.
