That's what being nice is.
Being humble, polite, considerate, sensitive, liberal, respectful. Not saying things you feel in the heat of the moment because they are mean, exaggerated and not fully true.
All of it, is simply over-rated.
Being who you should be, is over rated.

you find such silly things to stay mad it. but this one was....well, sort of adorable.
in the heat of the moment, just to drive your point home you would say things that are too pointed. being humble, polite...... is all a matter of picking the appropriate words and manner to say the same thing.....not what you say but how you say. many a times that is the case. you dont have to hit the nail with a loud cacophonous bang to drive it home just because you can.
but then, you being who you are, i know my advice will fall to deaf ears :)

Some of the constraints which professional culture seems to impose is absurd beyond thinking.
Sometime, it appears as if very simple human emotions have to be 'mechanized' and 'professionalized'.
Something like an annoyed glance, snigger or wink which is actually so effective, can be misunderstood!
Sad,really.
