Random survival tips

God knows which one comes handy in which situation for some of us:

- don't stress over someone that barely remembers whether you exist
- take it or leave it. Do one.
- don't worry about what you can't change or control. Worry about why it makes you feel helpless.
- everyone is basically selfish. It is ok. Don't blame them for looking out for themselves.
- if you feel like you're giving your best but nothing is changing, stop. Step back. You're not worth it. It is not worth you.
- if you don't respect your feelings, no one will
- if it feels so bad it couldn't get worse, stop. It could get worse. It will get worse. It is already worse for someone else somewhere. So what? Chin up.
- die. Or live. Don't dangle in between.

The writer seems to be highly influenced by a particular situation. Life does not happen in this fashion. There are many other things to be considered. It does not function like a electrical switch board.

Agree with the last reply. Life does not happen with impulsive brains. The term "understanding" which is quite rare plays an imp. role. :)

Duh. I hate this statement the most. reminds me of "log bhooke mar rahe hain, aur tum khaana waste kar rahi ho"

what does that mean exactly? just because someone is losing both his legs, you losing one leg is happiness? you should be grateful for it? Duh. To hell with the guy losing both his legs. My bloody leg hurts like hell, and I can only feel that. I cannot feel the hurt the other guys feels. To me, my sorrow is deepest, darkest and the worst. each to his own. no comparison. except with oneself.

Have you noticed how your posts changed from long, emotional, life-is-beautiful types to short, to-the-point, 'practical' kind?
Either way, they are always a good read :-)

The someone else part is not important my darling. The important part is it could and would get worse. So moping already doesnt help anything. It is never so bad it couldnt be worse, so one shouldnt feel like rock bottom. You have to reserve some feelings and some strength for the lower levels of the game as well.

I agree
