But why would someone choose to get hurt at all? And the worst sort of pain is caused by those who were never supposed to hurt you at all. So maybe, when you hold someone so close to you (of course, choosing to do so), you also give them the power to hurt you. And when that happens, I (kind of) lose faith in my 'choices'.
