Truth

Poetry suffices most of the time
but sometimes clarity demands prose.
To treat, you need to diagnose.

I wonder if truth spills out in a ramble
and if so, whether it can ever be found
Hiding beneath the frivolous, the profound

I think the biggest advantage over prose that poetry gives to the writer is deniability..

What good is deniability without plausibility?
When you set up an elaborate treasure hunt, you're taking on the risk that the treasure would never be found

Deniability by definition implies plausibility. The poetry carry various possibilities, it's curvaceous. Prose is linear, deterministic. It's poetic when you make frivolous - the profound. Truth flashes in a light-it's quest however, never ending....
