Zindagi [edited]

Teri nafraton ki gehrayi se dar nahi lagta
Zindagi tujhe bahut shiddat se jiya hai
Tere kadamon mein raundein jaane ka gham nahi
Zindagi tujhe bahut fursat se jiya hai
Tu hath chhudake bhage, to hum nahi rokenge
Tere sannaton ke shor se bhi dar nahi lagta
Tune kitne hi dil tode hon, ranj humein nahi
Zindagi tujhe bahut mohabbat se jiya hai

God this might seem silly for this post. But I dunno, whenever I read any urdu senti kavita by you, I have this image of you in a flowing gown on stage reading it out with a tragedy queen kinda expression. It's probably because it's transliterated in English or something, but I don't know! It's probably because of watching too many cartoons during childhood. That kinda spoils the effect (as though I would be able to understand it anyway..) But your poems are great, you know that!

Sorry, yaar, spoiled the nazaakat and all. :P

So true, kisi ko bahane nahi milte kisi ko fursat...too many people in this world don't have time to live, and a majority of these are the ones not dying any time soon
