Think!

Ego from self-respect, optimism from denial

love from possession, may be a very thin line
But it's impossible to escape behind lines and lies
in the mirror of one's own eyes

You see, our understanding is but a sum of our misunderstandings, and our life eventually, a product of our understandings :)

Was about to ask if you spend your time googling for such weird images, and then I read your comment *GRIN*

An extremely apt flow of thought and expression for the particular picture. Simply amazing, your mind.

Do you also believe in these things or just write about them to give the literary genius inside you an outlet ..

"Optimism from denial" is very thought provoking....I thought optimism was always good?

I didn't google, I just tumbled on the image sometime, and then wrote the words taht came to my mind without thinking too much abt them. But I guess it managed to fit well, right :)

Im not a lierary genius, and I do believe in what I say. Sometimes I forget to implement it but often I manage to remember and bring a semblance of sanity to chaos in life. This blog is one of those things that helps me remember lessons that have taken so much pain for me to arrive at. If nothing else, it helps me question myself and avoid making excuses to myself.

Not necessarily you know. It's mostly good to look at the bright side of things, but if we do it too much, we sorta blur our vision of right from wrong in our quest to look for the good part in whatever it is, and sometimes, occassionally, we make mistakes, we over estimate and we misjudge and face consequences. A specific example where optimism vs denial becomes glaringly clear is for people who are in an abusive relationship, yet are willing to overlook, make excuses and often deny it for the sake of their emotional investment in that relationship.

Try to, I guess. Difficult hota hai
